Virtual Card Platforms Still Working in 2026: Updated Guide
After FomePay's rug-pull, DuPay's shutdown, OneKey's suspension, and WildCard's closure — which virtual card platforms are still actually working in 2026? Here are 4 platforms still operating with their current BINs and details.

The Current State
The Chinese virtual card industry has been through a brutal shakeout over the past two years. FomePay rug-pulled in August 2024. DuPay shut down in November 2025 due to compliance pressure. OneKey Card and WildCard also suspended services. After all these platforms exited the market, users have been searching for reliable alternatives.
Fewer than ten platforms are still operating normally. Here are 4 that we've verified are still active as of mid-2026.

Practical Advice
Check licenses before fees. All surviving platforms hold verifiable licenses — US MSB, HK MSO, Canada FINTRAC. Don't use a platform that doesn't publish its license credentials.
Only load what you'll spend. Don't keep large balances on any virtual card platform. If the platform goes down, you lose at most the loaded amount.
USDT is the standard now. Platforms supporting direct RMB top-up have essentially disappeared. Every remaining platform routes through crypto. If you're new to USDT, learn the basics of buying from exchanges like OKX or Binance.
Clean IP matters for OpenAI. When subscribing to ChatGPT Plus or OpenAI API with a virtual card, use a clean US residential IP. Standard VPN nodes tend to trigger fraud filters. This is an OpenAI policy issue, not a card problem.
